COURSE AIM

To enable the delegates to operate positively and safely with chlorine, to illustrate best practice and, to be able to react correctly to chlorine leaks.

Operators and Supervisors who are required to operate chlorination systems for Water Treatment or who handle Cylinders and Drums of Liquid Chlorine.

How Cylinders and Drums are connected or removed from the system safely

Safe Manual and Mechanical Handling of Cylinders and Drums

Sources of Leaks, identifying major leaks

Emergency Procedures – what is to be done?

Emergency Planning – knowing what to do First Aid Requirements including emergency Services

ASSESSMENT CERTIFICATION

All delegates after being assessed and successful completing the course will be awarded a Develop certificate with a note added to confirm that the course was approved by the Cyprus Human Resource Development Authority.
